It is one of the newest form of antiwrinkle injection in the market with its FDA approval received in 2006. As mentioned earlier, hyaluronic acid binds with water therefore it helps plump up the skin and smoothes those wrinkles and folds. Side effects are only minor with redness and bruising on the area, and some degree of swelling as well. It is also reported that the results of Juvederm can last for up to 9-12 months.
